OUTSPORT TORONTO has been working hard to ensure the success of PrideHouseTO and many members of the OST family have taken prominent roles in the leadership and operations teams. On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! PrideHouse Toronto Launch Reception Join the PrideHouse Toronto Leadership Team, volunteers, partners and community members as we launch PrideHouseTO's plan for the 2015 Pan/ParaPan Am Games. A cash bar and light refreshments will be available. The PrideHouseTO Pavilion at The 519 is accessible to people using mobility devices. The PrideHouseTO Launch Reception is hosted as part of the annual OutSport Toronto SCRUM, Toronto's annual summit of LGBTQ sport.

Since 2012, The 519 has been working with a private philanthropic donor and the City of Toronto to build the first-of-its-kind, inclusive sport and recreation centre. When completed, the 170,000-200,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility, will be an inviting setting that brings people together, fosters acceptance and healthy living, and showcases the City as a champion and world-class leader in diversity and sport inclusion. |

How can we increase participation from women, trans individuals, youth, people of colour, older people, and other under-represented groups? What concrete steps can be taken to ensure Toronto's LGBT sport community is a leader in diversity and inclusion, representing the full diversity of our communities? |

What challenges do our leagues and organizations face on a day-to-day basis? How can we work together to build a stronger, more stable LGBT sport community? What are the best practices / examples of success that exist within our communities now? What can we do together to address issues we have in common? |

How can we build and enhance our presence at tournaments and events outside Toronto? Are there opportunities to 'Own the Podium'? How can we enhance and expand the opportunities to host teams from across North America and internationally? What previously-hosted or existing events can be enhanced? Where are there gaps in the current tournament marketplace (under-served sports, periods of time, etc) for new events? Will Toronto be poised to bid for a future multi-sport event (FGG/OutGames)? How can we build our capacity to make this possible? |

Each group will have 10 minutes to report back to the community on their discussions and opportunities. |

Participants will have the opportunity to remain in their group from the first session or, based on the report-back, may choose to participate in another area for this portion of the day. Facilitators will lead the three groups to narrow the opportunities presented in session one to capture action items that are feasible in the next year. |
