One measure of an excellent fitness routine is the degree to which one cross-trains. The body is very good at remembering the demands placed on it, so as we continue to train in a certain discipline we find that our body becomes ‘conditioned’ to the demands of that regimen and our ability to persevere over longer periods of time increases. When we try a new athletic endeavour, we are often surprised that despite a high level of conditioning in one sport, we are challenged by another.

My Dad was a certified master painter from Glasgow, Scotland who was sought after by builders and developers in BC because of his high level of skill and professional results. He used to say in his thick, distinct, Mary Hill accent "Preparation is nine tenths of a job."

One of the things that makes OutSport Toronto such a valuable organisation in my mind is our ability to build bridges and connect our member organisations to their mutual benefit, including when they're in a bind.

I'm delighted to welcome you to OutSport Toronto's brand new website!  It's taken us a little while to get here, but we finally have a great presence on the web, as well as providing services to our member organisations.
